Tourist Guide Who Was Dragged Down By The Current On Nusa Penida's Kelingking Beach Found Dead
KLUNGKUNG - Putu Suasta, the second victim who was swept away by the current on Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali, was finally found by a joint SAR team. The victim was found dead in the waters of Kelingking Beach.
"Previously, the joint SAR team had been conducting search and rescue efforts since 06.00 WITA in the morning", said I Putu Cakra Negara, the coordinator of the Basarnas SAR alert unit in Nusa Penida, Monday, October 25.
He explained, by the plan for the search and rescue operation, Basarnas deployed a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB).
"RIB moved from sampalan to the location of the incident, then combed the location for three hours, the results were still nil", he added.

After the second search lasted for 30 minutes, the victim was finally found in a floating position west of the scene.
"When it was found that the victim was not wearing clothes, the distance was 0.20 Nm from the beach, the victim was then evacuated to the port of Banjar Nyuh and taken to the Pratama Hospital, Nusa Penida using an ambulance", he said.
Putu Suasta is a tour guide or guide Nur Aisyah Putri Sari who is also a victim of being swept away by the current on the Kelingking beach of Nusa Penida, Klungkung, Bali.
The two victims were initially swept away by the current on Sunday, October 24 at around 17.00 WITA. Besides Putu Suasta, another victim was Nur Aisyah Sari (22) a tourist from South Sulawesi.
