JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have found evidence of documents allegedly related to the infrastructure bribery case that ensnared the inactive Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin.

This item was found when searching four places, including the office to the official residence on Thursday, October 21.

"The investigative team has completed carrying out forced searches at several locations in the Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Friday, October 21.

The four locations that were searched were the PUPR Office of the Musi Banyuasin Regency; The Musi Banyuasin Regency Government Office includes the regent's office, the regional secretary's office; and the workspace for the procurement section of the Regional Secretariat of the Musi Banyuasin Regency.

Next, the investigative team also searched the official residence of the Musi Banyuasin Regent and the residence of the related parties.

"From these four locations, various documents and electronic devices were found and secured, which were allegedly related to the case," said Ali.

Next, documents and electronic devices found will be analyzed for immediate confiscation.

"This evidence will then be analyzed to confirm its connection with the case and immediately confiscation will be carried out to complete the case files of the suspect DRA et al," Ali explained.

Previously reported, the KPK named Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin as a suspect in the alleged bribery of infrastructure projects.

Not only Dodi, three other people were also named as suspects, namely the Head of PUPR, Musi Banyuasin Regency, Herman Mayori; Head of SDA/PPK Department of PUPR, Musi Banyuasin Regency, Eddi Umari; and Director of PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara Suhandy.

During the silent operation, the KPK also recovered Rp. 270 million and Rp. 1.5 billion from Dodi's aide in Jakarta.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said Dodi carried out a presumptuous practice by engineering a number of lists, including making a list of potential partners who will carry out project work whose budget comes from the APBD-P for Fiscal Year 2021 and provincial financial assistance, including the PUPR Office of Musi Banyuasin Regency.

In addition, it turns out that he has determined the percentage of the fee for each project value with details of 10 percent for him, 3-5 percent for Herman, and 2-3 percent for Eddi and other related parties.

As a result of this impudent practice, the company owned by Suhandy, namely PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara, was declared the winner of the four development projects. The project is the rehabilitation of the Ngulak III Irrigation Area (IDPMIP) in Ngulak III Village, Kec. Sanga with a contract value of IDR 2.39 billion; an increase in the DIR Epil irrigation network with a contract value of IDR 4.3 billion; improvement of irrigation network of DIR Muara Teladan with a contract value of Rp. 3.3 billion; normalization of Ulak Ria Lake, Sekayu District with a contract value of IDR 9.9 billion.

Dodi is expected to receive a commitment fee of Rp. 2.6 billion from Suhandy. However, when the OTT was carried out, he only received some of the money given through his subordinates, namely Herman and Eddi.
