Sri Mulyani Cs Ready To File A Lawsuit Against Setiawan Harjono BLBI Obligor Besan Setya Novanto
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has stated that it is ready to face a court lawsuit filed by Setiawan Harjono, one of the obligors of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI).
The information was delivered by the Director of Legal and Public Relations of the Directorate General of State Assets (Kemenkeu), Tri Wahyuningsih Retno Mulyani.
"We follow the judicial process and all the processes", she said through a virtual channel, Friday, October 22.
According to Tri, until now the procedure for the trial is still ongoing because it is only in the summoning stage.
"This is because it was just a summons, so the trial has not yet proceeded", she said.
Meanwhile, according to Sri Mulyani's subordinates, the agenda at the green table will only be rolled out next week.
"According to the lawsuit, the trial schedule is on October 25", she asserted.

For information, Setiawan Harjono filed a lawsuit against the government through the Directorate General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance regarding the BLBI debt case.
This is stated in the lawsuit numbered case 611/Pdt.G/2021/PN Jkt.Pst in the Central Jakarta District Court.
Just so you know, Setiawan Harjono is a former high-ranking officer of PT Bank Asia Pacific (Aspac) who was declared to have debts to the state of more than IDR 3.57 trillion. He is a businessman as well as a besan of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives Setya Novanto.
In previous reports, it was known that Setiawan Harjono was absent during the third summons sent by the BLBI Task Force on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
"Not present", said the Head of the Public Relations Sub-Directorate of the Directorate General of State Assets at the Ministry of Finance, Bernadette Yuliasari.
