Deputy Head Ahmad Doli Kurnia Invites Former Cadres To Return To Golkar's House

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Golkar Party, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, invited former Golkar cadres who were less fortunate in establishing a new party to rejoin Golkar's house.

Doli admits that there are alumni of Golkar cadres who have succeeded in establishing new parties, such as Surya Paloh establishing Nasdem and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto in the Gerindra Party.

The chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives said that it was important to consolidate all powers, including figures who had been alumni of the Golkar Party.

"There are also other political parties that have not been lucky. We are happy to invite you to return to the big house together for consolidation," said Doli at a virtual event for the 2004-2024 Golkar Two Decades of Victory, Saturday, October 16.

Doli admits this is the goal of the younger generation of Golkar cadres. According to him, it is hoped that the younger generation of Golkar can become a common home for members who are alumni.

"It's a kind of joke, yes, we young people in the Golkar Party imagine how Golkar will return to being a common house for cadres who have now left Golkar," said Doli.

On the same occasion, Doli said, Golkar is now preparing to win in the 2024 General Election.

He emphasized that the Golkar Party is currently working hard to restore glory, as happened in 2004.

"We are currently working hard, so we feel that the generation that is ashamed if we can't repeat it after 20 years, the upcoming 2024 election can't win," he said.

Furthermore, Doli also said that one of the strong assets of his party is the prominent figure of Golkar cadres both at the center and in the regions. At least, according to Doli, this will increase the electability of Golkar at the central and regional levels.

"This is what we must strive for, that they are still considered prominent figures, especially in areas which of course also have their own strengths to get support from the community," concluded Doli.
