Police Who Slammed Student Demonstrations, Charged With Multi-layered Articles, Detained By Banten Regional Police Bidpropam

BANTEN – NP, the police officer who slammed MFA during a demonstration in the Puspemkab Tangerang area, is still being questioned on a marathon basis by the Banten Police Bidpropam. This was in accordance with the order of the Banten Police Chief Inspector General Pol Dr. Rudy Heriyanto who was asked to do the handling and filing of the NP.

Based on an official statement from the Banten Police received by VOI, Friday, October 15, the NP is subject to multiple articles in the internal regulations, so that the sanctions to be imposed on the NP will also become more severe.

"For the purposes of examination and filing, NP is currently being placed in the Banten Police Bidpropam detention room." That's the statement released by the Banten Police.

Meanwhile, regarding the medical treatment of MFA, on the orders of the Banten Police Chief, the person concerned (MFA) was taken to Ciputra Hospital Tangerang to get optimal health services. According to the release, MFA's admission to Ciputra Hospital was not due to his deteriorating condition.

The team of doctors at Ciputra Hospital suggested that MFA be hospitalized so that doctors could observe intensively the progress of MFA's health.

“Faris (MFA) is in a stable and good condition. Faris was handled by a team of professional doctors from Ciputra Hospital for medical recovery. Faris is not only affected by the trauma of last Wednesday's incident, but also other diseases based on the results of intensive observation of Faris." he continued in a release distributed by the Banten Police.

The Banten Police Chief admitted that he was focused on efforts to restore MFA's health, so the Tangerang Police Chief and supported by the Tangerang Regent, provided better health services to MFA.
