There Was A Bee Attack, The Filming Of Gentleman Starring Ju Ji Hoon Was Stopped

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news came from shooting the movie Gentleman, starring Ju Ji Hoon and Park Seong Woong. 16 people including staff and actors who were on the set were stung by a bee and are being treated at the hospital.

The incident began when they filmed Gentleman in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province. One of the staff held the beehive and a swarm of bees immediately invaded the surrounding area.

The medical team immediately came and gave first aid to the first three people. Reporting News1 on Friday, October 15, there are 13 people who are undergoing treatment at the hospital and three others do not require treatment.

The fire department is also working on the location and they are moving the beehive.

Reportedly, actor Ju Ji Hoon was on set but he was not stung by a bee. It is not yet known whether Park Seong Woong and Choi Sung Eun are victims or not.

The film Gentleman tells the story of Ji Hyun Soo (Ju Ji Hoon), an investigator who is arrested for a murder case. In order to clear his name from the case, he teams up with prosecutor Kim Hwa Jin (Choi Sung Eun).

Currently, shooting for Gentleman is underway and the film is scheduled to hit theaters in May 2022.
