KSAL Yudo Margono Motivates Candidate Marines At Mount Bromo: Can You Do It? Proud To Be A Soldier

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono gave motivation to prospective students of Indonesian Navy Marines who are currently undergoing the "Cross Field Command Training Practice" (Lattek Dikko) stage.

"Can you be a Marine? Can you be a Marine?" said the KSAL to prospective Marine soldiers while crossing the sea of sand, Mount Bromo, Probolinggo, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 13.

According to Yudo, joining the Marines of the Indonesian Navy is a matter of pride, so that each individual must be able to show his pride by maintaining the honor and combat ability of the Marines.

This pride, continued Yudo, must be instilled in every prospective Marine soldier because he has combat abilities that other soldiers do not have.

According to him, proud to be soldiers who are tough, professional and have to be strong to face all terrains, in the forest, in the mountains and at sea with all the risks of being a marine soldier.

"You are proud to be soldiers who can be on land, at sea, in the air that other soldiers don't have, so you must be proud to be Marine soldiers," said the former Pangkogabwilhan I encouragingly. Then the KSAL also gave a message that the difficulty of following the Marine Dikko must be taken a lesson.

"Take the lesson that later you will also experience something like this when you are in service, you will carry out operations in the field after graduation, in fields like this, so that you have been trained from the beginning, both in the mountains, at sea, both on flat and heights, ravines, that's what you will live while carrying out your service," said Yudo in a press release.

Limed from Banyuwangi to Surabaya, which covers a distance of about 300 kilometers, is the final stage of a series of Command Education that must be taken by a prospective Marine soldier.
