Local Government's Transparency About New Capital City Candidates: Central Government Allocates Rp510 Billion For Phase 1 Development
JAKARTA - Acting Regional Secretary for North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, Muliadi, said that the central government has allocated a budget of approximately Rp510 billion for the construction of the first phase of Indonesia's capital city.
"In the 2022 RKP (government work plan) document, the central government allocates a budget of around Rp510 billion for the construction of the new state capital for phase one," Muliadi said in Penajam, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 12.
The construction of the new capital city of Indonesia is a national priority project and program. The people of North Penajam Paser Regency can participate in the construction of the state capital with the party appointed as the implementing contractor.
Everything will be done openly and all people of North Penajam Paser Regency who are interested in collaborating with implementing contractors, please register.
"Because it is a national project, of course, for labor recruitment and cooperation, there are terms and conditions that must be met," said Muliadi.
"Please residents of North Penajam Paser Regency who have the capacity and expertise, their workforce is prepared to participate in building the new state capital," he added.

It is hoped that the central government through the National Development Planning Agency or Bappenas, as well as implementing contractors can recruit local workers.
"From the start, the central government gave the green light for local workers to participate in the construction of the new nation's capital," Muliadi explained.
The central government also asked Real Estate Indonesia or REI to support the construction of the new capital city of Indonesia
President Joko Widodo has determined that the capital city of Indonesia from Jakarta will be moved to parts of North Penajam Paser Regency and parts of Kutai Kartanegara Regency in East Kalimantan Province.
