HOLO, How Lee Hi Calm Yourself

JAKARTA - Long awaited, soloist Lee Hi finally released his first single (single) titled HOLO. It's not the first single, but this is the latest project after leaving YG Entertainment in 2019.

It took a long time for Lee Hi to get to the right agency. Luckily, Jay Park's AOMG agency is a berth for the singer who was born on September 23. AOMG is the agency for Gray, Loco, Hoody, and many others.

HOLO is an r & b soul song written by An Shinae, a member of The Barbarettes. He has worked on Lee Hi's single titled Hold My Hand.

The music video released on Thursday, July 23 features melancholy Lee Hi singing HOLO. He dances and has fun with a friend all the time. Lee Hi was also seen accompanying his sad-looking friend who was dominated by white.

HOLO is a melodious song with solace for himself as a reminder to weather the storm in his life. "One day it will stop." the lyrics are sung softly in Lee Hi's distinctive voice.

Fans are aware of Lee Hi's lack of promotions and activities while at YG Entertainment. Because of this, the public feels happy when Lee Hi finds a new agency. His last release was the mini album 24 ℃ which was released in 2019. He even said that he would do more promotions for fans.

This single reminds fans of the song Breathe that Lee Hi released in 2016. The song was written by the late Jonghyun SHINee. Due to the sad lyrics, not a few fans feel HOLO as a continuation of Breathe.

Welcoming Lee Hi's return, the hashtag #HOLO occupied a trending Twitter topic shortly after its release. The song also immediately placed first on the South Korean music charts. Check out the HOLO song, below:
