Great! East Java Is Still Strong At The Peak Of Papua PON Swimming Medals
JAYAPURA - East Java still leads the list of medals in swimming at the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) with nine gold, six silver, and two bronze.
This number was achieved by East Java after the addition of three gold, one silver, and one bronze medals on the third day of the competition at the Kampung Harapan Aquatic Arena, Jayapura Regency, Monday, October 11.
On the third day, Adinda Larasati Dewi opened the East Java gold medal with the fastest finish in the women's 200-meter freestyle with 2 minutes 04.96 seconds.
In the same number, Ressa Kania Dewi also contributed bronze.
Then, it was Nurul Fajar Fitriyati's turn for the women's 100-meter backstroke with 1 minute 04.77 seconds.
The last gold won by East Java on the third day was achieved through the women's 4x100 meter relay.
While one silver was won by Andi Muhammad Nurrizka who recorded 1 minute 03.16 seconds.
