DENPASAR - Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati (Cok Ace) ensured that the opening of international flights at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport remained on schedule on October 14.
In addition, the quarantine at hotels for foreign tourists, which was originally 8 days, has now been reduced to 5 days.
"There has been no change in the date. If the quarantine has been agreed from 8 to 5 days. Indeed, the desire can be reduced again, but there is a mechanism, yes, it is a kind of trial first, 5 days," said Cok Ace at the Bali Provincial DPRD building, Monday. , October 11th.
The reasons for agreeing on a 5-day quarantine for foreign tourists have been well considered. In addition, with the reduction in quarantine, the provincial government hopes that foreign tourists to Bali will reach 1,500 people per day.
"We hope that between 1,000 and 1,500 per day, if it can be very good. But the early stages are still far away. This is all still very dynamic. Because we still see developments out there that are still changing. Previously there were countries that would not open the flights are now open again," said the Deputy Governor of Bali.
Five countries that can make direct flights to Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport are South Korea, Japan, United Arab Emirates, China and New Zealand or New Zealand. The Bali Provincial Government predicts that the most foreign tourists from China will come to Bali starting October 14.
"Maybe China, but China is strict for (tourists) returning. China has quarantine as well for tourists," said Cok Ace.
