JAKARTA - Indonesia Lifestyle Blogger and Digital Creator, Andra Alodita tells about his experience in knowing yourself. “Incidentally, Andra has loved drawing since he was little, and loves making his own comics. But after growing up, stop it all. I never draw again, because I feel lazy and not confident.” Andra said.

But after starting to try journal writing mixed with pictures, Andra began to feel the effect was extraordinary. He feels that something inside him that was previously unspeakable can now be expressed well through art & journaling.

In addition, Andra also admits that this art & journaling activity is a relaxing activity.

“When I've written a journal, released my emotions, once I can express it through pictures, I feel more relaxed. Better to know what I feel what I think turns out to be like this." Andra Alodita continued.

For Andra, art therapy is not a matter of good or bad, whether you can draw or not. But by channeling your creativity, you can explore and analyze your feelings, reduce stress and anxiety levels, and improve your mood.

In between his busy activities, Andra always takes special time to write a journal. As much as possible this activity becomes a routine thing to do.

"Usually on weekends, I take one to two hours to channel my creativity." Andra said.

However, when he is remembering or feeling something, Andra will immediately try to write and collect as much data regarding these feelings and emotions as possible so as not to forget.

Well, for those of you who are not familiar with art therapy, Andra Alodita shares tips on starting art & journaling.

First, as you walk, try to find out what you are feeling, what may have been hidden all this time, what problems for years there has been no solution.

Second, prioritize and dedicate your time to yourself. For example, in one day leave one hour out of 23 for yourself.

Third, dedicate the time you have to relaxing in silence, while collecting data for self-exploration.

Lastly, just go with the flow, relax and enjoy the journey of life.
