The Ministry Of Health Ensures PeduliLindungi Data Is Not Saved By Partner Applicators
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) ensures that the integration of the PeduliLindung QR Code API with a number of partner applications will comply with the principles of personal data protection and user data is only stored in the PeduliLindungi application.
“The data is also not stored in partner apps. This has been stated in the agreement with the digital platform," said the Chief Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), Setiaji as quoted by Antara, Friday, October 8.
He added that the data accessed by PeduliLindungi partner digital platforms is encrypted and in token form. Thus, the data can only be read by the system of both parties.
Setiaji emphasized that the only data that can be accessed by partner applications is the user's health status used to enter a location (green, red, and black codes).

Meanwhile, location data and other personal data are not owned by partner applications and remain under the supervision of PeduliLindungi data security.
"Details of data usage are already in the terms and conditions with each partner application, it's clear there," said Setiaji.
Integration with applications and 35 partners began with the widespread implementation of PeduliLindungi. Not only applies to industry, transportation, tourism, but PeduliLindungi is also even being tested for use in the school environment.
Therefore, the government sees the use of PeduliLindungi to be more widespread if it cooperates with a third party. Currently, PeduliLindungi is available in 15 partners, while the other 35 partners will gradually be implemented by the end of October 2021.
