Bobby Nasution Visits Baby With Biliary Atresia, Kahiyang Ayu Cries
MEDAN - Medan City Bobby Nasution and his wife Kahiyang Ayu visited a baby with Biliary Astresia at Adam Malik Hospital.
A seven-month-old baby girl named Aiyla Adisty Hidayah suffers from Biliary Atresia.
The condition of the youngest child of the couple Rahmat Hidayat (31) and Olivia Saridah (27), residents of Jalan Medan Selatan Area, Gang Mulia Medan, North Sumatra, was seen paying attention to the condition of his enlarged stomach due to a disturbance in his heart.
When visiting baby Aiyla, Bobby Nasution and Kahiyang listened carefully and attentively to the description of Olivia Saridah, the baby's mother.
According to Olivia, based on an explanation from the Pirngadi Hospital where her daughter was initially treated, Aiyla had an abnormality since birth with no bile duct.
At the age of four months, the stomach began to grow, beginning with yellowing of the eyes.
"Should have surgery at the age of 2 months, now Aiyla's age is 7 months and she says it's too late," Olivia said with Bobby and Kahiyang while holding back tears.
A number of options were also discussed between the medical personnel dealing with the patient's family. Among them are liver transplant options in Jakarta. But the difficulty is finding donors.
Hearing the touching explanation and seeing firsthand the condition of Aiyla's baby, Kahiyang Ayu couldn't help but cry.
After visiting Aiyla's baby, Bobby Nasution said that the cost of Aiyla's care was borne by the Medan City Government.
"Currently what we continue to do is pray that Aiyla will be given health, her family will be given strength. Our funding is registered in Medan City," said Bobby Nasution.
