Children Often Bullied, Traders In Probolinggo Stab Neighbors

PROBOLINGGO - The Leces Police have arrested Budiyanto, a resident of Jorongan Village, Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The 46-year-old trader stabbed his neighbor, Yofiga Indrawan.

Leces Police Chief, AKP Akhmad Gandi, said the arrests were made based on the victim's report. The perpetrator assaulted his neighbor with a stab on Sunday, September 5.

According to the police, the perpetrator was upset because his son was often bullied by the victim. The perpetrator reprimanded the victim.

"The perpetrator immediately approached the victim and reprimanded the victim not to disturb her child again", said AKP Akhmad, Thursday, October 7.

But the victim did not accept the reprimand. A fight ensued between the two. The suspect stabbed the victim in the chest with the sharp weapon he was carrying.

"After carrying out the stabbing, the perpetrator immediately left the location. While the victim was helped by residents to the hospital", said AKP Akhmad.

The victim reported this incident to the police. After that, the perpetrator was arrested on Monday, October 4 in Tabanan, Bali.

"After getting confirmation of the whereabouts of the perpetrators. We immediately moved, and secured the perpetrators who were at the food stalls", continued the police chief.

The perpetrators were immediately taken to the Leces Police Headquarters for legal processing.
