These Are 4 Answers To Scene Puzzles In 'Squid Game'

JAKARTA - The Squid Game series, which was released on September 17, still leaves a number of questions. Given that the series consists of nine episodes, viewers find that there are some unfinished scenes.

Squid Game tells the story of a competition that 456 people participated in to win 45.6 million billion won. They have to follow several rounds of traditional South Korean games in order to get the money.

Here are five solved riddles from the Squid Game series. First of all, please note that this article contains spoilers from the series.

Ddakji game

The initial story of Squid Game tells the story of Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) who meets a salesman (Gong Yoo). This sales invites Gi Hun to play ddakji which is played by two people. They must succeed in turning the folded paper over.

This salesman asked Gi Hun to choose blue or red paper, then Gi Hun chose red. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk replied to the theory that the colored paper corresponds to their position in the Squid Game.

Apparently, the choice of these two colors was inspired by an urban legend about a ghost in the toilet offering red or blue toilet paper. Both questions are traps for death.

This concept is adapted to the Squid Game so that potential participants are faced with two situations that end in the same: death.

Squid Game Salesperson

Many viewers are curious about the Salesperson character played by Gong Yoo. He only appears at the beginning and end of the episode offering a game of ddakji to train visitors.

To The Chosun Ilbo, Hwang Dong Hyuk explained that Sales is someone the game creators trust. This character serves as a public liaison with the game Squid Game without explaining his identity. In addition, the salesperson character is made to work outside the game, namely the real world.

Bed

The participants were surprised when they woke up in a bunk bed. Chae Kyung Sun as the art director explained that the bed symbolizes competition.

“Modern society is a constant competition to continue to level up. We tried to capture this phenomenon in the bed design,” said Chae Kyung Sun.

This bed proved to be a place of protection for the participants. While the participants are trying to kill each other, Gi Hun is looking for Oh Il Nam's (Oh Jeong Seo) grandfather who went missing during the attack.

It turned out that Oh Il Nam took refuge in the top bunk. Gi Hun got worried and asked how Oh Il Nam got up to the top bunk.

Oh Il Nam also has the number one on the jacket as well as signifying he is the first person in the game: both as creator and participant.

Gi Hun's Red Hair

Gi Hun's red hair is one of the most surprising aspects of Squid Game. Told when Gi Hun won the Squid Game, he chose to live as before without using the money.

Once upon a time, Gi Hun changed his hair red and was about to leave for the United States.

“I imagined being him (Gi Hun) and asked, 'what hair color wouldn't you try?' then I thought Gi Hun would not dye his hair red,” said Hwang Dong Hyuk.

"I chose that color and I think it shows his anger over the Squid Game competition."

Before boarding the plane, Gi Hun called the number on the Squid Game card and connected. He finds out the game is still there and Gi Hun wants the game operation forever.
