Tenet Not Airing August 12th

JAKARTA - Christopher Nolan must give up too. Long grappling with the situation, Nolan and Warner Bros. officially removed Tenet from the upcoming August 12 release. This was previously done by the production house when it canceled the July 31 broadcast.

Despite his optimism, Warner Bros. shrank as well. They did not reveal the latest release date for Tenet in the near future.

"We hope that through this process to ensure the highest success of our films we are also ready to support theaters with new content when they can be opened," said Toby Emmerich, Director of Warner Bros. quoted from Variety, Tuesday, July 21.

Determining the date is not just choosing the right time but also weighing the risks and benefits they choose. It is likely that they will release Tenet first internationally before the United States.

Tenet played by John David Washington and Robert Pattinson. This film is his latest project after Dunkirk in 2017. Initially this film was projected to open theaters, competing with Disney's Mulan. However, with this delay, Mulan became the first film to open the business.

Some time ago, Disney had admitted to glancing at the Tenet and Warner Bros. movements. If Tenet is able to attract the audience back to the cinema, then they are sure Mulan will get the same thing.

On the other hand, Warner Bros. also postponed the broadcast of the third part of The Conjuring, The Devil Made Me Do It to June 4, 2021 from September 11, 2020. Due to unfinished filming, they decided to postpone the date for a long time.
