Veteran Actor Nam Moon Chul Passes Away

JAKARTA - Actor Nam Moon Chul passed away today, October 4 after facing colon cancer.

Reporting Soompi, the agency BK Management announced, "Nam Moon Chul passed away due to a chronic illness at 6:20 am on October 4, 2021".

"He died at the age of 50 after being diagnosed with colon cancer and battling the disease", the agency said in a statement.

The procession will begin on 6 October in private. “BK Management will always remember his passion for acting”.

As a veteran actor, Nam Moon Chul has starred in dozens of Korean films and dramas. She made her debut on the theater stage and is actively pursuing acting.

Some of the films he has starred in are I Am Home, Ashfall, Young Adult Matters, and More Than Family. In the film More Than Family, he is told as the father of Ho Hoon (Shin Jae Hwi), the person who impregnated Kim To Il (Krystal Jung).

In the drama lineup, he has also played supporting roles in The Nokdu Flower, Descendants of the Sun, Train, CHIP-IN, and most recently, Mad for Each Other.
