Coffee Seller In Bekasi Dies With 13 Stab Wounds, Police Form Special Team To Hunt Perpetrators
JAKARTA - The Bekasi Metro District Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the murder case of Siti Atikah alias Embon (37) who died in front of her shop.
The victim was selling coffee, food and retail gasoline located in Gang Sakum, Kiara Gedur Village, Cicau Village, Central Cikarang District.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Rahmat Sujatmiko, admitted that his party had formed a special team to uncover the murder of the victim. The special team consists of a combination of the Central Cikarang Police, the Bekasi Police and the Metro Jaya Police.
In addition, the joint team also deployed sniffer dogs to find traces of the murderers.
"Since yesterday we have continued to investigate the crime scene (TKP) and gather a number of witnesses," he said when contacted by reporters, Sunday, October 3.
The Satreskrim is still investigating the murder case.
"Currently our members are still at the location conducting investigations related to the motive, mode and cause of the victim's death. Meanwhile, there are three witnesses who have been examined," he said.
The Criminal Investigation team also examined the victim's husband, with the initials Ombing, who knew the condition of the victim when he was found.
"We from the Bekasi Metro Police Satreskrim, Central Cikarang Police and Metro Jaya Police are still conducting crime scene investigations and joint identification," he said.
Furthermore, AKBP Rahmat said that his party was still investigating the motive for the murder. The perpetrator is also still on the run.
"We are still investigating the motive itself, hopefully it can be revealed quickly," said Kasat.
As is known, Siti Atika alias Embon was found dead in front of her shop. The victim found 13 stab wounds of sharp weapons all over his body. From the scene of the incident, a pair of scissors was found beside the victim's body.
According to Ombing, the victim's husband, the discovery of his wife's body was first noticed by one of the cattle herders who passed by his shop. The cowherd shouted.
"When I came to the shop, a cowherd woman shouted to call me. I came at 10 am to the shop and saw my wife had died in front of the shop," said the victim's husband.
The incident was then reported to the Central Cikarang Police. The joint team is still investigating the murder incident.
