Men With Flower Tattoos Steal Frozen Food In Depok, Residents Arrested Through CCTV

DEPOK - Members of the Pancoran Mas Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a thief at a frozen food shop in Kebute Village RT06/04, Rangkap Jaya Baru, Depok. The perpetrator's actions have been monitored through the shop owner's CCTV.

The perpetrator, with the initials B, has been targeted by the shop owner. This time he was caught by the owner through CCTV footage. BK was finally caught by the shop owner Andriansyah.

"Perpetrator B was arrested after the second time he entered by climbing the fence, damaging the shop door with a trellis and then trying to loot the fast food in the freezer," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Ipda Abu when confirmed, Wednesday, September 29.

Ipda Abu revealed that this young man with a flower tattoo on his hand had previously tried to steal the same type of food, frozen food, and had even been caught on CCTV in the shop.

"The perpetrator has stolen twice in a week and the last one was caught by the shop owner from the CCTV video footage. Previously he escaped by climbing a 1.5 meter high wall behind the shop leading to the garden," he said.

From the hands of the perpetrators, continued Ipda Abu, his party managed to confiscate as many as 20 packs of 1 kg of frozen food in the form of potatoes, chicken and sausages.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had stolen only once because it was difficult for him to get a job during the pandemic to cover the necessities of daily life. In the act, the perpetrator was a single player. The evidence was 20 packs of frozen food and CCTV footage. The perpetrator was subject to Article 363 regarding the theft of weights," he said.
