Former Deputy Governor Of South Sumatra Is Being Examined As Witness In Corruption Case Of Natural Gas Purchase
PALEMBANG - The former Deputy Governor of South Sumatra was examined as a witness in the case of alleged corruption in the purchase of natural gas from the Regional Mining and Energy Company (PDPDE) in 2010-2019.
The Deputy Governor of South Sumatra for the period 2008 – 2013 initials ES was examined as a witness to complete the case files for suspects Alex Noerdin and Muddai Madang in the case at the Special Criminal Room of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Wednesday, September 29.
The Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Khaidirman, said the Deputy Governor of ES was examined as a witness to find legal facts about the alleged corruption of the PDPDE.
"ES was examined as a witness," he said.

Witness ES, he continued, was examined simultaneously with eight other witnesses, namely, MS (Former Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province), IM (Former Chairman of the PDPDE Management Board).
ML (Secretary of the PDPDE Supervisory Board), AJ (Head of the Economic Bureau/ Member of the PDPDE Supervisory Board), S (Legal Experts and Adin), SR (Director of Operations), PSY, and I.
"Checked to complete the files of suspects AN and MM in the PDPDE case," he said.
The examination of the nine witnesses was carried out by a team of investigating prosecutors at the Directorate of Investigations at the Attorney General's Office for Jampidsus and the Investigation Team of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office.
"Witness examination is carried out by strictly following health protocols, including applying 3M (K.3.3)," he said.
