Depok Police Quick Action Arrests Murderer Of Sergeant Yorhan Lopo

JAKARTA - Depok Metro Police have arrested the perpetrators of the murder of one TNI member and the stabbing of a resident in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java.

"There are two victims. One was stabbed, one died," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus as quoted by Antara, Friday, September 24.

Yusri explained that the victims who suffered stab wounds were civilians while those who died were members of the TNI.

Yusri did not want to explain the details of this murder incident. However, he said, the incident began with a dispute between the victim and the perpetrator at home.

"(Initially) fighting at home," he said.

Yusri said that his party would hold a press conference at the Depok Metro Police Headquarters to explain the details of the case to the public.

Previously, the body of a man suspected of being a murder victim was found in the area of Jalan Patombak RT 04/05, Cimanggis, Depok. The figure of the corpse was found lying in the bushes fully clothed. RD, a witness at the location where the body was found, said that at that time, after washing up at his house and then going out to accompany his son who was going to study online, he suddenly saw many people running to the location where the body was found. The victim was later found to be a member of the TNI on behalf of Sertuary Yorhan Lopo.
