Hard! Coordinating Minister Luhut To Hariz Azhar: No Absolute Freedom, This Defends My Good Name!

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Merves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan officially reported Hariz Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti to the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Wednesday, September 22 today.

This report starts from the Youtube content 'There is Lord Luhut Behind Intan Jaya's Economic Relations-Military Ops, General BIN Is Also Existing,' and registered with the number STTLP/B/4702/IX/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, 22 September 2021.

Coordinating Minister Luhut did not accept it because this was a libel. The opportunity to apologize to him has been opened through 2 summons but Hariz Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti ignored it.

"I remind you there is no absolute freedom, all freedom is responsible so I have the right to defend my human rights. I didn't do that, nothing! I asked for evidence, nothing!" said Luhut at Polda Metro Jaya.

"Because twice he didn't want to (Apologize). I have to defend my good name, my children, my grandchildren. So I think it's too much because I apologized twice, I don't want to apologize. Now we take legal action so I criminalize and civilize," said Luhut again

Luhut admitted, many parties suggested not to take this case to law. But Luhut insisted, because he wanted to show the public that every statement issued must be held accountable.

Luhut's lawyer, Juniver Girsang, added that the lawsuit against Hariz Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti would be carried out both criminally and civilly.

"What is very interesting, Mr. Luhut said that this matter will also be a civil lawsuit," said Juniver Girsang.

In their lawsuit, Hariz Azhar and Fatia Maulidianti, who are considered to have defamed their reputation, must pay Rp. 100 billion. The money is a form of accountability.

"In the civil lawsuit he told me earlier, we will sue both Haris Azhar and Fatia who have defameed him for Rp. 100 billion," he said.

If the lawsuit is granted, the money will not be enjoyed by Luhut. Instead, it is given to the Papuan people.

"If it is granted by the judge, it will be donated to the Papuan people. That is why he was so enthusiastic that he proved that what was alleged was not true and constituted defamation," said Juniver.
