Two Years Break, Audrey Tapiheru Appears New Through LoveLock Album

JAKARTA - Singer Audrey Tapiheru ended her two-year hiatus by releasing her first EP titled LoveLock. This album is his new work after releasing the song Daisy in September 2019. This album contains three songs that have continuity between each other, namely the process of a person in finding his love. These three songs are Dime, Menanti-Nanti, and Constantly You. The Dime song he sang with Popsickle sounded very 2000s R&B. It turns out that Audrey was very inspired from that era. "In terms of songs, I really love the 2000s era, the R&B era, hip hop like that. At first I wanted to make music like that until finally when I brainstormed with Gamaliel, he asked me what I wanted, what I like,” Audrey said at a virtual listening session on Monday, September 20.

His older brother and partner in the GAC group, Gamaliel Tapiheru again helped him in making LoveLock. There are also songs in LoveLock that have been made since 2019 so Audrey is only polishing them this year. myself," Audrey explained. Compared to Gamaliel and Cantika, Audrey doesn't feel any pressure to release a work after two years. "I believe that if we work on it honestly, there will be color coming out. Why do you have to be under pressure?” replied Audrey. The LoveLock album will be released in a single-by-single release. His first song, Dime can be heard starting today, September 22 digitally. Meanwhile, the songs Menanti-Nanti and Constantly You will be released on October 6 and 20.
