Warkop Makes DKI Warkop Institute Loss. Anything?

JAKARTA - The DKI Warkop Institute has raised its voice regarding the emergence of three youths who have joined the Warkop trio. They explain the losses they have experienced since their commercial presence.

Hanna, the son of the late Kasino, said they had been reprimanded by the production house Falcon Pictures. It is known that Falcon is working on several new versions of Warkop DKI, namely Warkop DKI Reborn and animation.

"The DKI Warkop Institute does not see material losses. For Imaterialel, we get a bad name from Falcon because we sell products to them. We received a strong reprimand for the appearance of (Warkopi),” said Hanna on Monday, September 20.

Indro Warkop, who attended the press conference, emphasized that he had no problem with the similarities between the three young men.

"I don't mind the resemblance. But they are imitating Warkop DKI which is protected by law," said Indro.

Son of the late Dono, Satrio also regrets that the management deliberately commercializes these three young men.

"I learned that our fathers are not just friends looking for money but more than that and they don't want it to end up looking for money that ends up not being a blessing," said Satrio.

"The management (Warkopi) indirectly hurt the hearts of our fathers," he continued.

With this statement, the DKI Warkop Institute hopes that Alfin, Sepriadi, and Alfred will stop commercializing Warkop such as creating content or appearing publicly.
