Gunungkidul Regency Government Proposes QR Code Access For Tourism Objects To The Ministry Of Health

GUNUNGKIDUL - The Government of Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, is trying to make all tourist attractions have access to the QR Code PeduliLindung to the Ministry of Health.

"This Cares for Protect QR Code is a condition for allowing tourist areas to open a trial for tourist objects. For this reason, we have submitted a request for QR Code access to the Ministry of Health," said Secretary of the Gunungkidul Tourism Office, Harry Sukmono, quoted by Antara, Friday, September 17.

He hopes that all tourist attraction actors in the area can get access to the QR Code so that trials of opening tourist attractions can be carried out immediately.

"We hope that all tourist attractions will receive a QR Code, so that we can test the opening of tourist objects," he said.

He has also instructed tourism actors and the tourism business community to immediately install the PeduliLindung application and immediately take care of the Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment or CHSE certificates.

"This is also a condition for testing the opening of a tourist attraction," he said.

In addition, Harry confirmed that there are still blank spot areas in tourist areas such as Nglambor Beach, Siung Beach, and Wediombo, whose procurement requires coordination with the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Regarding the tourist destinations that are the target of the trial, his party has not been able to provide an overview. However, reflecting on the preparations for the new normal last year, the trials took place at Baron Beach, Kukup, Ancient Volcano, and Kalisuci.

"The policy of the trial opening of the designated tourist attraction still depends on the policy of the DIY Government," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the members of the Pokdarwis Culinary Tourism Plumbungan Gold Village, Putat, Patuk Andri Purwanto welcomed the plan to prepare for the trial of opening a tourist destination so that the wheels of the economy can get back on track.

"We hope that after a briefing from Dispar, we will immediately test the opening of a tourist attraction," he said.
