The Impact Of Normalization Of The Ciliwung River, Cawang Residents Are Uneasy Being Visited By Land Acquisition Brokers
JAKARTA - Residents of RT 15/03, Cawang Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta are haunted by anxiety. The reason is, the house that has been inhabited for decades is rumored to be evicted by the government because it is affected by the normalization of the Ciliwung river.
The Ciliwung river normalization project in Cawang Village will later destroy the houses of residents in 6 RTs, in RW 03, Cawang Village. In fact, at this time the residents are starting to be filled with fear because of brokers or brokers who are evictions for the normalization of the Ciliwung river.
According to information from residents at the location, the broker for the evicted land has set a limit of 25 percent of the total replacement for one resident's house. Residents in RT 015/03 also rejected the presence of land brokers. Because residents feel disadvantaged because they do not get all their rights to land and buildings affected by the normalization project.
"Here at RT 015/03, about 90 percent of the residents refuse (brokers)," said Fajri, one of the administrators of RT 15/03, Cawang Village, to VOI, Friday, September 17.
According to Fajri, several parties who were suspected of being brokers or brokers did come from door to door. They offered an invitation to a letter of agreement regarding land acquisition services (brokers) which would later lead to compensation for the impact of river normalization.
"Here he calls it a broker, not a broker. He is basically not from here, not from insiders. Maybe this is from outsiders who came to meet certain people in their area, which have been divided by region. services (acceleration of land acquisition)," he told reporters.
Fajri said that the alleged brokers and brokers offered a letter of agreement regarding the acceleration of land acquisition.
However, the contents of the agreement were deemed detrimental to the citizens. The reason is that the words "Entitled to receive compensation for cooperation services from the first party of 25 percent." So, the broker will get a profit of 25 percent if the land acquisition funds (river normalization eviction) have been disbursed, he said.
In addition, the management of RT 015 also agreed to refuse (brokers).
"Because in the provisions there are 75-25 (percent), that's what we think the administrators do, it's not appropriate," he said.
Residents in RT 015 also submitted the issue of land acquisition for the normalization project to the RT management independently and independently without a broker.
"So we, the people here, better take care of the paperwork ourselves. That's why we make a collective in our area according to government regulations, basically the people here reject the broker," he said.
As is known, previously a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PSI faction Justin Untayana found allegations of land brokers in the form of service bureaus asking for payments to residents affected by land acquisition for the Ciliwung river normalization project. This was conveyed when he was doing a recess in Cawang Village, East Jakara.
