JAKARTA - The Korean drama Hospital Playlist 2 ends the story on Thursday, September 16. Much awaited by the audience, this drama scored the highest rating in its 12th episode.

Quoting Newsen today, September 17, the final episode of Hospital Playlist 2 received a rating of 14.1 percent. This figure is the largest number they have achieved throughout the 12 episodes broadcast.

Hospital Playlist 2 managed to occupy the number one rating compared to dramas that aired on the same day. In addition, the hashtag #HospitalPlaylist2Ep12 took the first position as a trending topic on social media.

But the audience must be patient because the production team confirmed that the Hospital Playlist story did not continue into the third season.

"All the production team and cast will get together if there is a new story planned one day, but for now, there are no specific plans (for a third season)," the production team said.

Director Shin Won Ho mentioned there are plans to air Hospital Playlist in the same season three years. But that plan changed considering that some of their actors and actresses had already chosen new projects.

“The original plan was to air [Hospital Playlist] for three years, but I told the actors that they were not attached to the next story and they could take on another project,” said Shin Won Ho. “I said if we could come back, we could do it. Right now, there are no specific plans for a third season."

Several Hospital Playlist 2 players have announced their latest projects. Yoo Yeon Seok with Suriname, Jeon Mi Do with Thirty-Nine, Shin Hyun Been with Monstrous, Kwak Sun Young with Moving, and Ahn Eun Jin with Only One Person.

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jeon Mi Do, Jo Jung Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, and Kim Dae Myung will gather in Na Young Suk's variety show.
