DKI Health Office Brings Good News, Moderna And Pfizer Vaccines Are Available In All Vaccination Services
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has distributed the Moderna and Pfizer brand COVID-19 vaccines at all COVID-19 vaccination service centers in Jakarta. Previously, these two types of vaccines were not available in all locations.
"Starting today, Moderna and Pfizer vaccination services are available in all health facilities and vaccine centers in Jakarta", said Head of the DKI Health Office, Widyastuti, at her office, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 16.
Widyastuti explained that the Moderna vaccine can be injected for Indonesian citizens with ID cards throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, for the Pfizer type, only Vertical Hospitals (Hospitals belonging to the Ministry of Health) and health facilities under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, as well as the National Armed Force (TNI)/the National Police (Polri) health facilities can inject KTP citizens throughout Indonesia.
"Other than that, health facilities can only inject Pfizer for Indonesian citizens with DKI Jakarta ID cards and domiciled in Jakarta", she said.
WIdyastuti said that the DKI Provincial Government injected Moderna and Pfizer vaccines at a target dose of 1. The Pfizer vaccine was given to target ages 12 and over and pregnant women. Meanwhile, the Moderna vaccine targets ages 18 years and over and pregnant women.
"People who are immunocompromised, such as severe comorbid diseases, autoimmune diseases, patients on immunosuppressant therapy must comply with the doctor's recommendations. The Public health center (Puskesmas) will coordinate with the RSUD if further examination is needed on prospective vaccine participants according to medical indications", she said.

DKI has also increased the quota for registration of dose vaccinations through JAKI to a minimum of 250 people per day per sub-district.
Puskesmas and Emergency hospital (RSUD) also open COVID-19 vaccination services on holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a choice of varied hours, including in the afternoon and evening.
"We will conduct sweeps to pursue the achievement of doses 1 and 2 for the target of adolescents, educators, education staff, vulnerable communities (pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, people with disabilities, and others). We will also continue to ensure the coverage of doses of 3 Health HR in the region by conducting sweeping all health facilities", she added.
