PSG To Be Challenged By Club Brugge Tonight, Pochettino: There Is Always Pressure, Especially The Champions League, Our Main Target

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain will start their adventure in the Champions League this season against Club Brugge in Group A tonight. Coach Mauricio Pochettino insists there is always pressure at any club he coaches.

Quoted by Antara from the club's official website on Wednesday, Pochettino explained that they would be assessed at the end of the season with the results obtained.

"We know that they will judge us by the result at the end of the season. There is always pressure, at all clubs. We know that for Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League is the main target", said Pochettino.

Furthermore, the Argentine coach explained that at this time he had not yet determined which players would compete against Club Brugge.

According to him, currently, there are several players who are still doubtful to be able to appear in PSG's first match in the Champions League and will see the results of yesterday's training.

"I haven't decided on my starting eleven, we'll see how things go in training on Tuesday. There are still some doubts", explained Pochettino.

In addition, Pochettino thinks Club Brugge is a team that is playing well and has managed to dominate Belgian football in recent years.

Pochettino sees Club Brugger as a physically strong team and playing interesting football that can change their game system at times.

"They are a team that has played well and dominated the Belgian league in recent years. They are a physical team, who play interesting football and can change systems, as in the last few games where they went from 5-3-2 to 4- 3-3", said Pochettino.

The match between PSG and Club Brugge will be held on Wednesday night local time at the Jan Breydel Stadium, Sint-Andries, Bruges, Belgium.
