Starting From Four Hot Points, Jakarta's Crowd Free Night May Be Expanded
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya opens the opportunity to expand the implementation point of crowd free night (CFN) in Jakarta. Meanwhile, there are four vulnerable points. Later expansion depends on the results of the evaluation.
"The opportunity is still open (expansion of the point)," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Saturday, September 11.
Evaluation of the implementation of this scheme will be carried out periodically. If the result is found that there are many violations of health protocols, then the scheme will be expanded.
In fact, it is not impossible that these points will be closed. So, there will be no more crowds and violations of health protocols.
"We'll see in the next week or two, if the results of the enforcement of health procedures are found to be violations of health procedures, yes, we can close the area," said Sambodo.
However, if you look at the results of the first implementation, not many violations were found. The community has begun to understand the rules during the PPKM period.
"Effective implementation in the four areas where we limit the crowds is quiet and effectively eliminates crowds," said Sambodo.
Previously, the police implemented a Crowd Free Night (CFN) policy during PPKM level 3. This policy was to anticipate crowds that occur at night on weekends.
There are four locations where CFN will be implemented, including Kemang, Sudirman, Thamrin and the SCBD area.
In this policy, officers will patrol and block these points. This policy is effective from 00.00 to 04.00 WIB.
