Alleged Causes Of Damage To PPSU In The Environmental Office

JAKARTA - The Office of the Environmental Task Force (Kasatpel) of Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, was damaged by a number of PPSU officers. This vandalism was only mentioned because it did not accept being recorded when celebrating a birthday.

Kapolsek Mampang, Kompol Sujarwo said the vandalism took place on Saturday, July 4. The incident started when five PSSU members were celebrating the birthday of one of their colleagues at around 20.00 WIB. They put on music and danced.

Their activity which attracted attention was recorded by one of the Environment officers. Until finally, they realized that someone was recording. Then they chased the environmental officer to his office.

"There was a commotion there. (PPSU person) Someone threw a stone until it hit the glass," said Sujarwo to VOI, Tuesday, July 7.

Not only throwing stones, PPSU officers entered the Environment office. In fact, one of the environmental officers who tried to intervene was hit and injured his temple. So, the victim reported the beating case.

"So what we are investigating is the case of the beating," said Sujarwo.

The problems that triggered it were due to trivial things. However, there are rumors that the recording shows PPSU elements drinking liquor.

However, Sujarwo said, based on the examination of witnesses and video recordings, no pictures were found showing PPSU officers drinking liquor.

"If we talk about the existing facts, we do not find that the PPSU person drank alcohol. The results of the witness examination and the video were not there," said Sujarwo.

Thus, the trigger for the problem was allegedly due to a misunderstanding between the two parties. Until now, the case is still under investigation. However, the perpetrators of the PPSU have been identified.

"Until now, it is still being investigated. Nothing has been named as a suspect," concluded Sujarwo.
