Viral! The Police Arrested 6 Perpetrators As Well As The Stolen Rearview Mirror
JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to secure a gang of perpetrators of theft of car rearview mirrors.
"It's true, our members have arrested the perpetrators of theft of car mirrors which are troubling the residents of West Jakarta", said Head of West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Commissioner Joko Dwi Harsono when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 8.
In their actions, the perpetrators are not alone. They formed a group of mirror thieves by changing personnel when stealing. In fact, they already have another network, namely a special collector of stolen goods.
Separately, the West Jakarta Metro Police Crime Head, AKP Avrilendy, who led the arrest process, said several perpetrators were being investigated.

In addition to the perpetrators of the theft of mirrors, the police also secured the mirror holders along with evidence from the crime.
"After the development, we secured the receiver along with some evidence (mirror)", he said.
The perpetrators and the evidence were secured to the West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters for further investigation. Previously, the mirror theft occurred on Jalan Rawa Kepa, Tomang, West Jakarta on Friday, September 3. The rearview mirror theft was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media, one of which was via the Instagram account @kontributorjakarta.
In the CCTV footage, two perpetrators were seen patrolling the victim's house, one perpetrator was waiting outside while the other perpetrator wearing a brown sweater climbed the fence and immediately took the right side mirror of the Toyota Fortuner car.
