DKI Prepares To Open Tourist Attractions In The Near Future
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan chaired a meeting to prepare for the opening of tourist attractions in the capital city tonight. This meeting was held after the central government allowed the trial of opening tourist attractions in areas that implemented PPKM Level 3.
Deputy Governor of DKI, Ahmad Riza Patria, said that the meeting resulted in the DKI Provincial Government's decision to prepare to open tourist attractions to parks in Jakarta. However, Riza said the opening time had not been determined.
"The tourist park will be opened through a trial run. The matter of when it will start is being discussed. It will be announced later," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 7.
Riza explained that when tourist attractions opened, there were conditions applied to visitors, ranging from age restrictions to having to be vaccinated.
"Children under 12 years old are not allowed. Later online, such as the Jaki application, the PeduliLindung application, must have been vaccinated, and so on," said Riza.
Currently, the managers of tourist attractions such as Ancol and Ragunan Wildlife Park are also preparing while waiting for directions from the DKI Provincial Government regarding the opening of their area. This was acknowledged by the Public Relations of the Ragunan Wildlife Park, Bambang Wahyudi.
"We have prepared everything internally. We have carried out maintenance inside. If the instructions are there, we are ready," said Bambang.
It is known that PPKM in Java and Bali was extended to September 13 and PPKM outside Java-Bali was extended to September 20.
In the extension of this PPKM, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said the government would conduct a trial opening of 20 tourist attractions in cities that implement PPKM Level 3 over the next week.
"There will be a trial opening of 20 tourist attractions in the city with Level 3 with the implementation of strict health protocols and the implementation of the PeduliLindung platform," said Luhut.
