Saipul Jamil's Freedom Is Warmly Welcomed, Netizens: How Traumatic It Would Be For His Victim Seeing Him On TV.
JAKARTA - Saipul Jamil received a standing ovation when he was released from the Cipinang prison, Thursday, September 2. His family, friends, fans, and journalists are busy reporting on his freedom from sexual crimes and bribing prosecutors.
It made the sexologist, Zoya Amirin, worried and sad. "What I'm worried about is a sexual offender and sadly when someone, whether it is Saipul Jamil or whoever is given space by the media", she said, quoted from a video uploaded on YouTube Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
"The freedom of sex offenders who are treated like superheroes makes him sad. "It's sad, this is a criminal, he is not a superhero and he is not a person with good behavior", she said.

On Twitter, comments on Saipul Jamil's news were also boisterous until singer Ziva Magnolya re-uploaded the netizen's comments.
"Why do my eyes really have to see this through the timeline?. You've just lived a peaceful life, then something comes that makes you want to move planets", said Ziva, quoted from Twitter @zivamagnolyeah on Friday, September 3, 2021.
Ziva tweeted @miraemirachle about the victim's condition which was not considered. "Saipul Jamil is free from prison and gets a treatment like this, TV fights for ratings, I can't imagine how traumatic it would be for his victim seeing him on TV. It makes me remember Bong Yi in the drama Mouse, who was a victim of sexual harassment, experienced social anxiety disorder until the perpetrator finally died and recovered".
