Reviewing Door-to-Door Vaccination In Cirebon, Jokowi: We Can Accelerate Picking Up The Ball For Vaccination

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reviewed the implementation of door-to-door vaccinations in Panampaan Village, Cirebon City, West Java.

In his review, Jokowi appreciated the implementation of door-to-door vaccination. According to him, vaccination programs that come directly to residential areas can accelerate the target for COVID-19 vaccination.

"Today I was in Panampaan Village, Cirebon City, West Java Province, where the city carried out door-to-door, door-to-door vaccinations so that we could speed up service to the community in the context of vaccination together," Jokowi said in a statement. On that occasion, Jokowi also mentioned that the COVID-19 pandemic situation was getting better. This can be seen from the decrease in daily cases as well as the decrease in the occupancy of isolation beds and the COVID-19 special ICU.

"Therefore, I ask the public that the health protocol must continue to be carried out in a disciplined manner. The second is to immediately participate in the government's vaccination program," said Jokowi.

It is known that Jokowi and his entourage left for Cirebon using the ATR 72-600 Special Aircraft at around 07.30 WIB from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base.

Arriving at Cakrabhuwana Airport, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, Jokowi immediately inspected door-to-door vaccinations. After that, Jokowi and his entourage headed to SMA Negeri 1 Beber, Cirebon Regency, to review the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for students.

Then, Jokowi and his entourage will continue their journey to Kuningan Regency, to be precise Kampung Tonjong. Jokowi will also review the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for the community on a door-to-door basis.

Furthermore, Jokowi is scheduled to go to the Miftahul Falah Islamic Boarding School, to review the COVID-19 vaccination activities for the students. There, the President will also greet vaccination participants at several other Islamic boarding schools via videoconference. In addition to reviewing COVID-19 vaccination activities.

Jokowi will also provide guidance to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) throughout West Java Province which is planned to be held at the Kuningan Regency Hall.

Ending a series of working visits in Kuningan Regency, the President will inaugurate the Kuningan Dam before returning to Jakarta in the afternoon.
