Muhaimin Targets PKB To Be In The Top 2 In The 2024 Election
JAKARTA - PKB DPP General Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar targets his party to be in the top two in the 2024 General Election. Therefore, party cadres must prepare themselves early to achieve the electoral target.
"We are grateful that various PKB position survey results are quite good, some are in the top three and some even mention the top two. Until the next election, we must win the election, at least we can win second place in the 2024 election," said Muhaimin, quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 28.
He said this when giving a virtual direction on the Inauguration and Signing of the PKB Integrity Pact throughout Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra), as well as the "Coaching Clinic" for the Early Candidate of DPW PKB in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi.
Muhaimin said, PKB must be able to become a reforming and differentiating force as well as a way out or new hope in the midst of political, economic stagnation conditions, and various threats due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I see that there will be local governments who are powerless to deal with difficult situations because the way they work is wrong. The PKB DPCs must continue to observe the performance of the government in their respective regions," he said.
According to him, to achieve the various targets set, all members of the DPR RI, Provincial DPRD, Regency / City from PKB must continue to work according to their functions and responsibilities.
The Deputy Speaker of the DPR asked all DPC and DPW PKB to continue to innovate to find creative ways and get stuck in formalities.
"Present PKB in an inclusive, fluid, 'connected' way with what is happening in the community. If you make an event, it must really make PKB easily accessible, easy to take to communicate and if possible can help what the community needs," he said.

Muhaimin assessed that proper communication will have a very broad impact, because the principles of communication are to provide education, intelligence, and political maturity.
In addition, according to him, PKB must be able to become a bridge and a means to follow up on the hopes and aspirations of the community to related institutions.
"For example, aspirations about the suffering of a farmer whose land has been evicted, are channeled through political parties appropriately. Don't be silenced. PKB must be present and bring and voice the problem," he said.
