Bobby Nasution With Kahiyang Ayu Visit Victims Of Medan Jewelry Store Armed Robbery
MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution visited Julianus Simanungkalit, the victim of a shooting at a jewelry store robber at Simpang Limun Market, Medan.
"Alhamdulillah, his condition is now stable after surgery and is being treated at Bhayangkara Hospital, Wahid Hasyim Street, Medan. We pray for Mr. Julianus to get well soon and be able to reunite with his beloved family," said Bobby Nasution via the bobbynst Instagram account, Saturday, August 28.
Bobby Nasution visited the victims of the shooting of the jewelry store robbery with his wife Kahiyang Ayu and the Medan Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Riko Sunarko.
The robbery of two jewelry stores at Simpang Limun Medan is still being investigated by the police. At the scene, the police found 3 bullet casings.
"There was an explosion (gunshots), we have secured 3 shells, the witnesses are under investigation. Then we are also waiting for Labfor and Inafis," said the Director of General Crime (Dirkrimum) of the North Sumatra Police, Grand Commissioner Tatan Dirsan Atmaja at the scene, Thursday, 26 August.

Meanwhile, the owner of the jewelry store, Kasmawati, told the chronology of the robbery. The robbery, according to her, took place quickly and took her by surprise.
"He (the perpetrator) ran, jumped open the safe, I was shocked," said Kasmawati, Thursday, August 26.
At the time of the robbery, the perpetrator who was holding a firearm held himself at gunpoint.
"He was holding a gun, it was pointed at me, ready to scream, he held it again," explained Kasmawati.
The robbers stole almost 3 kilograms of gold. Losses are estimated at up to Rp4 billion.
“About 3 kilos of gold, opened the safe, opened the drawer. There is a lot of (gold) in the drawer, opening the drawer, around Rp4 billion (estimated price, ed),” she said.
