This Is What The LIB Says, Why The Complete Schedule Of Liga 1 Hasn't Come Out Yet
JAKARTA - Bali United coach Stefano 'Teco' Cugurra asked the competition operator PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) to issue a schedule for the 2021-2022 Indonesian Liga 1 match. Because through the schedule, he and his squad can prepare better.
"We should have known the schedule from the first to the last. That would make training better," said Stefano 'Teco' Cugurra quoting Antara, Saturday, August 28.
As is known, the LIB has not issued a complete official schedule for the 2021-2022 Liga 1 because the government wants to see and monitor the implementation of COVID-19 prevention health procedures.
Therefore, LIB only released the schedule for three Liga 1 matches, namely Bali United versus Persik, Friday (27/8), Persipura versus Persita on Saturday (28/8), and Bhayangkara FC against Persiraja on Sunday (29/8).

"The government will provide an assessment for the first three matches. Health protocols will be strictly applied and the PeduliLindung application is prepared in all accommodations and match venues. We will obey and comply," said LIB Operations Director Sudjarno at the time.
Bali United player Muhammad Rahmat also expected the same thing. A complete schedule, according to Rahmat, will motivate players to prepare for the match.
"That can add to the morale of the players," said the winger.
Bali United itself defeated Persik Kediri with a score of 1-0 in the inaugural match of the 2021-2022 Indonesian League 1 at SUGBK, Jakarta, Friday (27/8), thanks to Rahmat's single goal in the 83rd minute.
Three points from the party made Bali United, the 2019 Liga 1 champion, lead the 2021-2022 Liga 1 standings.
