In Great Demand, Bambang Brodjonegoro Becomes Commissioner Of Indofood Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim

JAKARTA - Salim Group company PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) has appointed former Minister of Research and Technology Bambang Brodjonegoro as Independent Commissioner. This decision was taken at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) yesterday.

"To appoint members of the Company's Board of Commissioners and Directors for a term of office commencing from the closing of today's General Meeting of Shareholders until the closing of the Company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024," the information disclosure of the issuer coded INDF said, quoted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, Saturday, August 28.

Management said that the shareholders approved the amendment of all provisions of the Company's Articles of Association to comply with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 15/POJK.04/2020 dated April 20, 2020, regarding the Plan and Organizing of the General Meeting of Shareholders of a Public Company.

In addition to the reshuffle of directors and commissioners, the company also set a dividend of IDR 278 per share to be paid on September 29, 2021. The following is a complete list of INDF Commissioners published through the IDX information disclosure:

Selling well, Indofood is the sixth company to appoint Bambang Brodjonegoro as a commissioner. It is noted that Bambang has held the position of President Commissioner of PT Oligo Infrastruktur Indonesia since July 1, 2021.

Bambang was previously appointed as President Commissioner of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk since May 28, 2021. Then, Bambang has served as President Commissioner of PT Bukalapak since April 30, 2021.

Since June 17, 2021, Bambang has also served as Commissioner of PT Astra International Tbk. Lastly, the Independent Commissioner of PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk. The appointment was also made on the same day as Astra International.
