Southwest Rote Police Chief Removed Due To Community Persecution While Playing Billiards Now Arrested, Will Be On Ethics Trial

KUPANG - Southwest Rote Police Chief JSB was removed from his post for molesting residents while playing billiards. As a result of the persecution, residents suffered bruises.

"The member with the initials JSB who served at the Southwest Rote Police has been removed from his position and detained in a cell for intensive examination by Siepropam Rote Ndao Police. In addition, the victim has also been examined," said Head of Public Relations of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police, Grand Commissioner Rishian Krisna Budhiaswanto, confirmed by VOI, Monday, August 23.

The JSB police chief who was removed was reported to be the victim with the initials YYD, a resident of Lobalain. The NTT Regional Police emphasized that Grand Commissioner Krisna would prosecute JSB regarding discipline and code of ethics.

"Several members have been investigated for violating discipline, code of ethics, or criminal conduct, and some have been dishonorably dismissed or fired. Internally there are two, disciplinary hearings and code of ethics trials. The maximum sanction for the code of ethics is dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) ", he explained.

The incident took place on Friday, August 20, when the now dismissed JSB Police Chief was playing billiards at Simpang Utomo, Lobalain, Rote Ndao.

It is suspected that the perpetrator had a disagreement with the victim so that the vanguard carried out the persecution of the victim.

As a result of the physical violence, the victim's face and body were bruised. This case has also been reported by the victim to the Rote Ndao Police Station for legal processing.
