Unlicensed And Violating Health Protocol, Police Disband Sinden Tayub Party In Madura
SUMENEP – The Madurese sinden tayub party which was held at a community celebration in Lenteng, Sumenep was dissolved by the Sumenep Police, East Java. The Head of Public Relations of the Sumenep Police, Commissioner Adjutant Widiarti, said the event was held without the crowd's permission.
"We found out this afternoon, and immediately ordered the Lenteng Police to disband," said Widiarti quoting Antara, Sunday, August 22.
According to information from residents at the Sumenep Police Headquarters, the sinden party with Madurese musicians started at around 08.00 western Indonesia time, Sunday until around 15.30 western Indonesia time at one of the residents' houses in the Lenteng District area of Sumenep at the wedding reception.
Apart from being without permission, activities held during the COVID-19 pandemic have ignored the enforcement of health protocol discipline.

Widiarti said that the officers from the Lenteng Police and were also not aware of the activity, because the organizers did not apply for a crowd permit.
"Our personnel only found out after the Sumenep Resort Police clarified a community report that in one of the villages in Lenteng District there was a performance and caused a mass crowd and the implementation did not apply the health protocol," she said, explaining.
At that time, officers immediately moved to the location and as a result, it was true that there was an entertainment party, and they were immediately disbanded.
The Head of the Public Relations Subdivision of the Sumenep Police, Commissioner Adjutant Widiarti, admitted that her party was surprised by the incident, because none of the police personnel on duty in Lenteng District knew of the sinden party.
Even though she continued, police personnel assigned to carry out security were scattered in all villages called Bhayangkara Officers for Community Security and Order (Bhabinkamtibmas).
"Bhabinkamtibmas is one village, one personnel, and he also admitted that he had not heard of any performances," she said.
