Mikel Arteta Boasts That He Can Stop Romelu Lukaku And Chelsea

JAKARTA - Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta says he already has plans to stop Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea when they meet in the second week of the English Premier League on Sunday night.

"I don't know if he (Lukaku) will play, but I have a plan to stop what Chelsea are going to do and we have a plan to win the game," Arteta was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

Chelsea is a club that has done a lot in recent years and is a top-class team in Europe. The Spaniard says Chelsea are European champions and expects a competitive match when the two teams meet.

"Yes from Chelsea we expect what they have done in recent years, they are a top team, full of world-class players with a great coach.

"They are European champions. We expect a very competitive game, that's what I expect from our team," said Arteta.

He said ahead of the match against Chelsea, he would get support from their supporters who had not filled the stadium for a long time.

Arteta explained that he and the rest of the Arsenal team have missed the stadium fans and they will try to win the game against Chelsea.

"Our supporters will go to support our team, right behind us from the start because they have been missed so much, and we will go there to win football games," Arteta explained.

The Arsenal vs Chelsea match will be held on Sunday at 22:30 western Indonesia time at the Emirates Stadium, London, in the second week of the English Premier League.
