Sad News, Percha Leanpuri Eldest Daughter Of South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru Dies

JAKARTA - The sad news came from the family of the Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Herman Deru. His eldest daughter, Percha Leanpuri passed away.

"Innalillahi wa Innailaihi Rojiun. The South Sumatra Provincial Government Expresses its Condolences for the Death of Hj Percha Leanpuri, Binti Herman Deru Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2019-2024 Period, First Daughter of the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru, Thursday, August 19, 2021," reads a statement published by the South Sumatra Provincial Government Public Relations.

"May Allah SWT place the deceased in the most beautiful place with those who believe and may the bereaved family be given fortitude.... Amen," continued the statement for uploading the sad news via the official Instagram account of the South Sumatra Provincial Government Public Relations.

Percha Leanpuri is a member of the DPR for the 2019-2024 period. The late became a member of the council from the constituency of the South Sumatra II NasDem Party faction.
