It's Been A Long Time Waiting, Finally 9,715 Acehnese Madrasah Teachers Receive Performance Allowances
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion of Aceh Province has realized a budget of IDR 214 billion for the payment of the difference in performance allowances owed to as many as 9,715 madrasah teachers and supervisors throughout the province of the western tip of Indonesia.
The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion for Aceh, Iqbal, said that the 9,715 teachers who received Tukin during 2015-2018 were by the results of the verification and validation of the Aceh Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) in 2019.
"The disbursement of teacher fees is carried out carefully, accurately, quickly, and must not be cut and must be by the results of the BPKP review", he said in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Thursday, August 19.
Iqbal said that the disbursement of the budget was urgently needed by teachers to help meet their needs in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The payment process is carried out by 102 work units in the ranks of the Ministry of Religion.
"This budget has been long-awaited by teachers, it is hoped that it can help them in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and be able to motivate teachers to improve the quality of the learning process", he said.

He also asked that if there were teachers who had not become Tukin recipients according to the results of the BPKP verification and validation in 2019, then shortly a re-verification would be carried out by BPKP, so that each work unit was asked to submit the data.
For further details, his party is still waiting for instructions from the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
