The PCR Test Rate At Bali's I Ngurah Rai Airport Is Still IDR 900 Thousand, The Reason Is Still Being Discussed With The New Price
BADUNG - Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) prices at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, have not been lowered. The central government previously set a PCR test price of IDR 495,000 for the Java-Bali region.
Stakeholder Relations Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) International Airport Branch Office I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Taufan Yudhistira, said the new price rates were still being discussed with the Bali Jimbaran Hospital.
"Until now there has been no result from friends. Meanwhile, it has not been (down) because friends are still discussing the Bali Jimbaran Hospital as a partner", said Taufan, when contacted on Wednesday, August 18.
According to him, the PCR tariff still uses the old price for passengers at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, which is IDR 900 thousand. It is also not certain when the price will decrease because it is still being discussed.
"Yes, still uses the price of IDR 900 thousand", said Taufan.

The Ministry of Health previously set the highest tariff change for the cheaper price of the COVID-19 RT-PCR test. This determination was made on the orders of President Joko Widodo.
This was confirmed by the Director-General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health, Abdul Kadir, through a virtual press statement.
"From the evaluation results, we have agreed that the highest tariff limit for real-time PCR examinations has been lowered to IDR 495,000 for the islands of Java and Bali, and IDR 525,000 for areas outside Java and Bali", Kadir said on Monday, August 16.
Kadir said that the determination of the highest tariff for COVID-19 test examinations revised the Circular Letter of the Director-General of Health Services Number HK.02.02/1/3713/2020 dated October 5, 2020.
