Soekarno's Granddaughter, Puan Maharani Reads The Text Of The Proclamation At The Merdeka Palace
JAKARTA - The chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) who is also the biological granddaughter of the Proclaimer Soekarno, Puan Maharani was lined up to read the text of the proclamation at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 17.

During the ceremony, the lady was seen wearing the Bundo Kanduang dress, which is a traditional dress from the Lintau area, Tanah Datar, West Sumatra.
