17,885 Rejang Lebong Residents Have Been Vaccinated With 1-2 COVID-19 Doses, Health Workers Touch 94.61 Percent Of Target
REJANG LEBONG - The Rejang Lebong Regency Health Office of Bengkulu Province stated that the number of residents in the area who had undergone COVID-19 vaccination doses 1 and 2 or complete currently reached 17,885 people.
Head of the Rejang Health Office, Lebong Syamsir, said that mass COVID-19 vaccination in the region has now entered phase III with the target of various levels of society spread across 15 sub-districts.
"Residents who have undergone this complete vaccination consist of health workers, public officials, the elderly, the vulnerable and the general public as well as teenagers", he said in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Monday, August 16.
He explained that the vaccination in Rejang Lebong Regency was carried out in 21 health centers and spread over 15 sub-districts. Then at the Curup Hospital, the Rejang Lebong Police Bhayangkara Clinic and the Rejang Lebong DKT Hospital.
The details of the vaccine recipient community are 1,492 health workers or 94.61 percent of the target, 9,380 public officers (42.90 percent of the target).

Furthermore, vaccination of the elderly was 2,112 people (10.94 percent), the vulnerable and the general population was 4,711 people (3.22 percent) and 190 people were teenagers or 0.66 percent of the target.
Meanwhile, the vaccination for the 1st dose, he added, has now been followed by 28,457 people, with details of 1,609 health workers (102.03 percent) of the target, 13,887 public officers, or 63.51 percent. The elderly are 2,987 people (15.47 percent), the vulnerable and the general public are 9,452 people (6.46 percent) and the youth are 522 people or 1.82 percent of the target.
Meanwhile, the current stock of vaccines, said Syamsir, has only entered as many as 840 vials of the Moderna brand which will be used as boosters for health workers, TNI/Police in the area.
