Being A Suspect In The Arrangement Of Excisable Goods, The Wealth Of The Bintan Regent Reaches IDR 8.7 Billion
JAKARTA - The regent of Bintan, Apri Sujadi, who was named a suspect in the alleged corruption in the regulation of excisable goods in Bintan Regency, Riau Islands by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) turned out to have assets of up to Rp. 8.7 billion.
Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) which he reported to the KPK on February 23, he was recorded to have assets with a total of IDR 8,718,767,012 and had no debt.
Of this amount, Apri has assets in the form of land and buildings in 12 different locations spread across the cities of Bintan and Tanjung Pinang with a total asset value of Rp3,749,407,000.
Furthermore, he is recorded as owning two cars, namely the 2014 Honda Jazz with a value of Rp. 165 million and the 2018 Honda CRV of Rp. 400 million. So in total, Apri has assets in the form of transportation equipment of IDR 565 million.
Next, the Regent of Bintan was recorded as having other movable assets worth Rp. 637,3110,000 and cash equivalents of Rp. 3,765,050,012.
Previously reported, Apri was named a suspect by the KPK together with the Acting Head of the Bintan KPBPB Concession Agency Moh Saleh H Umar. Both were detained in different KPK detention centers for the next 20 days until August 31.
Apri was detained at the Red and White Building branch of the KPK Rutan while his subordinate Moh Saleh was detained at the KPK Rutan Kavling C1 ACLC Building.
In this case, Apri allegedly received Rp 6.3 billion in money in 2017-2018 while Moh Saleh Umar received Rp 800 million. As a result, the actions of the suspects are alleged to have harmed the state's finances of up to Rp250 billion.
