In Paris, Messi Stays In A 5-Star Hotel That Costs 17,000 euros Per Night
JAKARTA - Lionel Messi is reportedly staying in a luxury five-star Paris hotel after completing his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 34-year-old joined Mauricio Pochettino's side after bidding an emotional goodbye to Barcelona last weekend.
He arrived in the French capital for a medical and completed his transfer on Tuesday. Thousands of supporters greeted him happily at the airport.
Messi officially became a PSG player that night, signing a two-year contract at the Parc des Princes before heading to one of the best hotels Paris has to offer with his wife Antonela and their three children.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the former Barca star and his family are currently staying at the Le Royal Monceau hotel - which has a swimming pool, private cinema, and six restaurants.
Rooms at Le Royal Monceau, where Neymar is believed to have stayed before finding permanent residence in Paris, start at 700 euros per night.
However, the price of Messi's luxury room is reported to be 17,000 euros per night.
This magnificent hotel is located on Avenue Hoche in the heart of Paris, not too far from the famous Arc de Triomphe monument. It is also very close to the French arts district and other cultural events.
Over the years, figures such as Winston Churchill, Walt Disney, and Robert De Niro are said to have lived at Le Royal Monceau, which has stunning views of the French capital.
